In March 2017, personnel from all three services of the British Armed Forces gathered outside the Cunard Building in Liverpool, to mark the 100 day countdown to Armed Forces Day 2017.
Control Descent were approached by the Cunard Building to erect three 5m x 19m banners designed to withstand the high winds generated due to the local topography and proximity to the coast. The three unveiling banners revealed 100 whilst the opening event was also accompanied by six simultaneous abseils by Royal Marines to draw attention and provide a spectacle for the 6 o’clock News.
