Brian

Owner

Brian started his career within the Royal Marines in the late 1980’s. Later he gained a commission retiring as a Major within the highly specialised Mountain and Arctic Warfare Branch. Brian’s exceptional leadership skills combined with his well-organised, disciplined, and methodical approach to management aided a successful military career and act as a guarantee for Control Descent now and in the future.

Brian is a proven leader and is highly qualified and experienced in managing challenging projects. Highlights include exhilarating, industrial scale events, such as abseiling the Shard, and most recently delivering the Controlled Descent phase of the Sky Scraper Challenge. This involved 800 participants either abseiling 700 feet from the Cheesegrator or zip lining from the same to the top of the Gherkin, a UK First.

Our Most Recent Testimonial

Would you please pass on my huge thanks to all those from Control Descent who helped us yesterday to achieve our goal.

The guys were amazing - and I know for sure had I not complete confidence in them, the procedures and the ropes I would not have been able to do it. You are all a fantastic team and I enjoyed meeting you all and hearing of experiences and brave careers in the Marines.

Huge thanks and appreciation for the support, training and professionalism which made it possible for myself and the rest of ‘Girls on Tower’ to achieve our goal. We are thrilled that £50,000 will be contributed to The Royal Marine Charity.
